In recent years, death metal has mainly focused on who manages to pull tempo and technique to its limits, alternatively, to take back the music to its gritty roots.
Deathbreed do not care about these conditions and instead plow their own brutal path.With inspirations like:Behemoth, BLOODBATH, AEON, SOREPTION and AS YOU DROWN etc.
At the end of January Deathbreed signed with the label Pantherfarm, who released their debut-EP: “Your Stigmata” on March 10, 2012
After this, the band has played frequently throughout Sweden from Östersund in the north to Stockholm in the south and has gone from strength to strength.
After some changes to the linup Samuel Englund (ex guitarist) took the position as lead vocals and Gottfrid Norberg Waxin replaced Samuel on guitar.
In mid-April 2013 DEATHBREED went on to tour the highly successful 10 gig European tour with DIABOLICAL and SOREPTION under the name “Neogenesis Tour – Second Chapter"
During 2010 William Hultqvist – Vocals joined the band and Deathbreed recorded their first Demo EP, Masters of the Soil.
They did their first gig as support act to local SYN:DROM.
The gig was praised by the critics and that directly led to acheiving more live gigs.
2011 –Emil Nissilä (drums) and Anton Flodin (bass) joined the band. And they recorded their first music video, "Pulverized".
In the fall Deathbreed WON the Metal festival "Nordfest" opening act competition. Which draw a lot of attention to the band.
After that Deathbreed went into the studio to record the EP "Your Stigmata" followed by a support gig for Aeon.
2012 - in the end of Januari Deathbreeds signs with the label Pantherfarm. Which released the EP "Your Stigmata" March 10 2012
Deathbreed has a change in the line-up. Samuel changes position to singer and Gottfrid Norberg Waxin joins in on guitar.
2013 - Deathbreed went on their first Tour in April, joining Diabolical´s second Neogenesis Tour together with Soreption
Deathbreed signed a management deal with Killshot Management
